This song is James' heartfelt tribute to his dear friend and colleague Joanne Shenandoah, who sadly passed away in November of 2021 at the age of 64. She was a powerful voice for peace in the world, and one of the most highly acclaimed Native American recording artists of all time. This beautiful piece combines two of her most popular songs, played on Native American flute, with percussion and vocal accompaniment. It is an honor to share this music.
